Transportation

There are some options to go to Saga as follows:
1. Fukuoka International Airport – (by bus) - Saga Station
2. Tokyo (Haneda or Narita Airport) - (by air) – Saga Airport- (by bus) – Saga Station
3. Saga Airport - (by bus) – Saga Station

1. Fukuoka International Airport – Saga Station

The nearest big International Airport is Fukuoka International Airport in Fukuoka City. There are direct flights from major Asian cities such as Busan, Seoul, Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Taipei, Hanoi, Ho Chi Min, Bangkok, Singapore and Manila.
You can take a highway bus from Fukuoka International Airport to Saga Station Bus Center. It takes about 75 minutes and the number of busses is about 20. The frequency of the bus is every 30 or 60 minutes. The cost is JPY 1,230 and you can buy a ticket on site.

2. Tokyo (Haneda or Narita Airport) – Saga Airport – Saga Station

Another way to access to Saga is arriving at Tokyo (Haneda or Narita) and flight to Saga with domestic flight.
If you arrive at the Haneda International Airport, you need to move to the Domestic Terminal 2. The All Nippon Airways (ANA) operates 5 flights every day.
For the Narita International Airport, you may need to move to the Haneda Airport. The Spring Airlines Japan has only 2 flights in a day, but the 2nd flight is not available on 7 July.
From the Saga Airport to the Saga Station Bus Center, you can take a bus and it takes 30 – 40 minutes. The departure time of the bus is tailored to arrival of flights from Haneda and Narita. The cost is JPY 600 and you can buy a ticket on site.

3. Saga Airport – Saga Station

There are direct flights from two Asian cities. One is Seoul and the T’way Airlines has one flight from Incheon Airport to Saga Airport every day. The other is Shanghai and the Spring Airlines operates one flight from Shanghai Pudong Airport to Saga Airport on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
From the Saga Airport to the Saga Station Bus Center, you can take a bus and it takes 30 – 40 minutes. The departure time of the bus is tailored to arrival of flights from Haneda and Narita. The cost is JPY 600 and you can buy a ticket on site.
